since there's some non-overlap between flickr-friends and lj friends, and I so rarely go out.

last night me and crystal went to a nice dinner party.



Paul invited us, he's the coolest dude I know. He was an uber-host, rarely even sitting down. It was a night of pasta samplers and varietals.


Their kitchen is beautiful and green.


We got to see Lisette, the beautiful. (I left the flash on this one, darn it.)



The other side of the table was stunned by our eloquence. (not pictured, Debra, actually doing all the talking)



I was mostly greedy, and just took the opportunity to eat and drink as much as possible.



I was worried, but finally Paul sat down and got to enjoy his lovely dinner.



Not pictured, a lovely neighbor who stopped by to chat, and pronounced the wine that Crystal bought 'unusually good for French wine', some production of laptops for geekiness, and much talk and laughter.

I didn't get to talk to everybody I wanted to as much as I wanted to, but that would have taken forever.
